Memorial National Honor Society members hold Build-a-Bears made for Eliot Hospital pediatric unit

MANCHESTER – This week, Memorial High School's National Honor Society members met after school at Build-a-Bear in the Mall of New Hampshire to build bears for the Elliot Hospital pediatric unit.

As part of a service project, students raised more than $1,000 and built 40 bears, which they later delivered to the hospital. Club adviser Karrie Menswar said this is one of their favorite service projects each year.

"The Build-a-Bear employees and Elliot staff commented on how well mannered, respectful, and polite all our kids were," Menswar said.

Great job, students – we appreciate your dedication to helping others.
